1. Do you laser engrave/inscribe on Diamonds?
Yes, we undertake inscription under service called ‘Laser Persona’ wherein short personal messages can be inscribed on the girdle of a diamond. Click here on the link ‘ Laser Persona ’ to know more about this unique service.
2. How do I check for quality whenever I buy a Diamond?
All Diamonds are graded on the four ‘C’s – Clarity, Colour, Cut, Carat Weight. Follow the link to a guide for buying diamonds ‘ 10 Point Guide ’. The fifth ‘C’ is confidence which you should look for in your jeweller. We have a standardisation in diamond quality for all sizes upto 0.22 carats. We standardise Clarity between IF to VVS1, Colour between D, E, F or G, H and cut to excellent proportions. All Diamond Solitaires above 0.23 carats are accompanied by a Diamond Certificate certified by GIA, HRD or IGI laboratories.

1. How do I place an order on ckcsons.com?
It is very simple. After entering the website you can click on any item that you wish to purchase, add that item to the Shopping Bag by clicking on “Add to Cart”. Thereafter you can follow the directions of the checkout process to complete your order.
Your order will get confirmed at the checkout process after you enter the credit card details and the transactions is validated and confirmed by the bank.
2. How safe is it to order on ckcsons.com?
Yes, it is safe to order on ckcsons.com as we use Industry Standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our site server.
3. What is the shipping policy and options available on ckcsons.com?
We currently accept online orders to shipping addresses within the territory of India and do not ship internationally.
Shipping and Delivery Policy:
Delivery is currently made only within India. We may accept orders from persons residing outside of India subject to legal, regulatory and other restrictions, provided the delivery address is in India and the payment on the credit card is validated. However, International deliveries may be accepted on a case-by-case basis subject to the possibility of shipping to and the export regulations governing such country. Users choosing to access this site from locations outside India is solely responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
In order to place an order on the site, it is necessary to specify the address and details of the person who will collect the shipment at the time of purchase. At the time of placing the order, the person have to state the full name of the recipient as stated in his / her government approved photo identification and provide the method and details of photo identification intended to be presented by the recipient. At the point of delivery, in order to collect the physical product, the recipient will have to provide any one of the following government approved valid photo identification cards as previously indicated at the time of order placement:
  • Ration Card;
  • Drivers License;
  • Permanent Account Number (PAN) card;
  • Voter’s Identification Card;
  • Passport
Delivery shall be made by the courier agent only after the photo and name of the recipient is verified and confirmed by such courier agent. To ensure safe and secure delivery of the package the courier agent will also note down the details of the government photo identification. The recipient of the package must cooperate with the courier or delivery agent by providing required and valid copies of his / her government approved photo identification. All information collected during this process shall remain subject to C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons.
In case you want any other person to receive the delivery on your behalf you need to specify details of the same at the time of ordering (as specified above) and delivery to such person under your instructions shall be deemed to be a full and complete delivery and you shall take all responsibility for any such delivery. All items shall be delivered directly to the person as specified at the point of ordering and CKC will be unable to (under any circumstances whatsoever) change the recipient details once the order has been processed.
Recipients accepting delivery should not accept deliveries where the box or packaging has been tampered with or if the box is empty. The recipients receiving the delivery must open the package and check its contents prior to accepting the delivery and / or signing the delivery receipt. If you find the box tampered with or empty or inconsistent with the order placed as stated in the order form, in addition to not accepting such a delivery the authorized personnel at CKC must be contacted without any delay whatsoever. The relevant contact information has been provided hereinafter.
If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the courier / delivery company shall try and deliver the item thrice before returning the same to C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons. All costs of re-shipment and handling in the case of non-delivery shall be chargeable to the user.
Delivery guarantee is subject to terms and conditions of the courier company. Any inconsistencies in name or address will result in non-delivery of the product. In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (e.g., wrong name or address, failure to provide specified photo identification) any extra cost incurred by C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons for re-delivery shall be claimed from the person placing the order.
4. Will I be charged VAT or any other tax for purchases made on ckcsons.com?
C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons will charge 2% VAT for any purchases to be delivered within Karnataka. For purchases outside Karnataka, Central Sales Tax (CST) @ 2% is applicable. Octroi of 0.01% on Diamond jewellery and 2% on Gold jewellery and Silverware will be charged additionally for deliveries made in Mumbai (Bombay).
5. Do I have gift wrap options for purchases made on ckcsons.com?
Gift wrap option is available during checkout and closure of the transaction. You may choose a message and gift wrapping option which will be delivered accordingly.
6. Will all the products of C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons be available for purchases on ckcsons.com?
ckcsons.com showcases a limited collection of merchandise for online shopping and continuously add more jewellery from time to time.
7. If I need any additional help for my purchases, whom do I contact?
You may call Customer Service on 1800 425 1869 and a Customer Service Representative will address your queries between 10.00 am to 6.00 pm IST (from Monday to Saturday). We are closed on Sundays.
8. Can I pick up my order by visiting any of the C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons showroom for any items purchased on ckcsons.com?
This facility is not available for any purchase done on ckcsons.com. Items will be delivered via courier only .
9. How can I check the status of my order placed on ckcsons.com?
To check the status of your order or verify your shipment please contact Customer Service 1800 425 1869 between 10.00 am to 6.00 pm IST from Monday to Saturday (from Monday to Saturday). We are closed on Sundays.
10. How can I exchange or return an item?
ckcsons.com accepts items on exchange if the item is returned in saleable condition within 7 days of receipt of goods. Returns may be sent by insured courier to:

11. Are the prices on ckcsons.com subject to change?
All prices of ckcsons.com are subject to change without notice.
All prices listed on ckcsons.com on the date of purchase will be the actual online retail price.
12. How do you ship/courier merchandise?
All Jewellery, Silverware and Gifts ordered on ckcsons.com is shipped free of cost through DHL Blue Dart fully insured to the address of delivery specified in the confirmed order.
13. What is the time taken to ship an order placed on ckcsons.com?
The time within which the item purchased is delivered to you may vary based on the availability of the items in the inventory (the availability of stock may be indicated alongside such item on the site while ordering), the location of the delivery and/or the customizing of the items purchased as requested by you.
Should the item be available in C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons inventory, delivery can be made within 10 - 15 days anywhere in India.
For items that require C.Krishniah Chetty & Sons to customize items as specified to CKC, a minimum of 5 weeks and a maximum of 12-15 weeks (or as specified separately) would be required depending on the complexity of the items to be customized. For an export item, an additional 15 days over and above the time to manufacture the item would be required before the item reaches you.
